Lynn Alan Farm is a partnership between husband and wife, Brent Alan and Christine Lynn Pence. Christine was raised on a farm in Greene County where she helped her parents. Brent, on the other hand, was not from a farm background; however, he knew from a young age that farming was the way of life for him. In 1993, he purchased his first tractor and with the help of a neighboring farmer, Brent was able to get a solid foundation to start farming on his own by gaining some farmland. We met in college and married in 1995 at which time we bought our first farm where we still reside, with our daughter Paige. Our machinery consists of newer John Deere equipment. The equipment includes auto-steer and field-doc recordkeeping systems. We are continuously adopting new technologies to improve efficiency to operate and improve economic stability. Our goal is to successively expand our operation while continuing to provide high quality service and production. We are always interested in expanding our territory to grow our business.
We have enjoyed traveling the country together showing livestock. Paige is now taking more control over the goat side of the business. Our goal with Pence Show Goats is to continue to produce high quality Boer goats for 4-H and FFA projects. Please feel free to contact us if you are thinking about getting started in this fun and exciting livestock industry. We enjoy helping youth with their goat projects.
